let the showering begin
Sam and I are up north this weekend, we had to come up for a baby shower that my family wanted to give me. He didn’t have to go to the shower (of course), but he came up to hang out the my brothers and their boy children.
The baby shower was nice, it was mostly just family from the area. The funniest shirt was one that said “Diaper loading: 72% complete” with a bar chart showing 72% completion rate.
We played demon, this card game that our family plays every time we get together, which is like multi-handed solitaire but it gets very dangerous. The baby was kicking the whole time. He kicks plenty, but it just seemed to me that he was getting excited about all the noise and activity. He’ll grow up to be a master demon player, I’m sure. Sam has learned how to play, but he still plays the ‘sister-in-law‘ version.
