giant uterine parasite
I remember my friend Kara remarking, shortly after the birth of her son about two years ago, that her son Ian was like a parasite. You know, feeding every three hours, her needing to hold him constantly, she couldn’t wait until he was self-mobile and could talk about his needs. Not that she didn’t enjoy that time and missed it when he did start getting older, but you get the picture.
I’m kind of getting the parasite idea, and the Onion states it so perfectly.
