the blog is the last to know
So … when I started dating Sam again at the end of the summer, I posted the information on the blog before I told most of my family. It might have been before I told ANY of my family. A few of them grumbled about it — “We found out Marie was dating Sam again from her BLOG!”
Well, this time the family and close friends have all been informed already that Sam and I are engaged. We went ring-shopping before Christmas and although the ring isn’t ready yet, it’s being sized, we got very nice looking Claire’s stand-in that sparkles on my left hand. Most people think it’s the real thing and it takes me a while to say “Uh, this is from Claire’s, it only cost $7″.
I hope to be posting more soon, I’m sorry I’ve been so lax lately.
