not much new, nope
I had dinner last night with a bunch of friends, one of which was a woman I hadn’t seen since before I went to El Salvador. She and I were on the board of the returned Peace Corps Group in my area, and we both fell off the face of the earth around the same time. We’re both back now. Neither of us knew much about what the other had done in the last few years.
christine: so, you moved, didn’t you?
me: yes, to El Salvador. But I’m back, in the same condo I was in before I went to ES.
christine: what are you doing now that you are back?
me: same thing I did before I went to ES. My job took me back.
christine: And I hear you are on the board (of the returned PC group) again?
me: yes, in the same position even as before I went to ES. Web coordinator
christine: so … you seeing anyone?
me: yes, the same guy I saw before I went to ES. Sam.
christine: so … not much is new then, huh?
me: nope. besides the fact that I moved to El Salvador since I saw you last …
