a quiet, productive day
After a week’s worth of travelling and working long hours, I came back home on Friday to host my book club meeting on Saturday afternoon — meaning I had to clean beforehand. Then a movie at a friend’s house on Saturday night, and I was ready to do just about nothing today (Sunday). So I did laundry, taxes, condo stuff, and even started packing for my trip to Australia on Friday. Mostly I started packing to make sure that I can fit the stuff Theresa ordered — to be sent to the US and ferried by me — into my bags. It’s looking like no problem at all.
